Stupid things done by noob guitarists

I was reading through the little Ed's Shed booklet that came with this month's Total Guitar magazine, was amused at the section listing things never EVER to do with a guitar. There were things such as:

- One bloke went into a music shop to try out a Wah pedal, and complained that it wasn't making a sound. Turned out it wasn't connected to the circuit!

- Another guy wanted to remove the finish from his guitar, so he dipped the whole guitar into a vat of paint stripper! The guitar ended up melting.

- One particular young guitarist didn't realise that he needed an amp to amplify his guitar, so he snipped off one end of the jack lead, and replaced it with a 13Amp plug end! His guitar blew up, and he somehow survived!

Wow...
